During these unprecedented events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic that have required a fundamental shift in daily learning environments, eCampus.com is committed to assisting their online bookstore partners as they navigate the transition to online learning. This means that some students will lose access to course materials that were previously shared or accessed via a physical library.

In addition to our traditional fulfillment options, and to support students and families who may lose access to the resources they need to succeed, eCampus.com has partnered with their digital course materials provider, VitalSource, and leading publishers, to launch VitalSource Helps, a program that provides access to eBooks to our higher education Online Bookstore partners. Beginning on March 16, 2020 and continuing for the rest of the semester, students at our partner institutions who have eliminated semester-based in-person instruction can access a broad catalog of eBooks free of charge. Are Physical Orders Being Impacted?
As of right now, there are no delays impacting delivery service levels or availability, and you are free to place your order. Please ensure the shipping address provided will be accessible at time of delivery. Should shipping times be impacted, eCampus.com will make every effort to notify you in advance.
Are UPS and USPS Deliveries Being Impacted?
UPS and USPS are currently not experiencing delivery delays due to COVID-19. However the situation is changing daily and we recommend you access the carrier websites for the most up-to-date information. We will also update this page as we receive new details.
What If I Need to Change My Shipping Address?
If you have an existing order that is scheduled to ship to campus, please contact customer service to see if the shipping address can be updated ahead of delivery. If your package has already been delivered to campus, please contact customer service with an updated address so that we can coordinate with your campus to have the package forwarded if possible.

eCampus.com has partnered with VitalSource and top publishers to provide free access to eBooks for online bookstore partners. The following information should be verified through VitalSource who established and oversees the program. How Do I Access Materials?
You can go to bookshelf.vitalsource.com and log in with your institution-provided email address. Because eligibility is governed by your school's domain, you must utilize your school email address to validate your account.
How Do I Get Logged In?
You can use your existing VitalSource login if it was created with your institution-provided email. If you do not have a VitalSource account, here are instructions for creating an account for free. For students and instructors with existing Bookshelf accounts NOT linked to their institution-provided email address, you can update your account by following these directions.
Where Can I See What's Available for Free?
If you have an existing VitalSource account, you will see a new "Explore" tab once logged in, which provides access to the freely-available eBooks. If you need to create an account or update your account, follow the instructions above which will then provide access to the Explore tab.
What If My School is Not on the List of Participating Institutions?
If your institution is a semester-based institution AND has announced a temporary closure or movement to fully online classes due to COVID-19, please notify us at email@example.com.
How Long Will I Have Access to the Free Materials Through VitalSource Helps?
VitalSource is providing access through the end of the semester or May 25, 2020, whichever comes first. After that period, you will maintain your Bookshelf account, but will no longer be able to access eBooks provided during the VitalSource Helps program.
How Many Titles May Be Accessed for Free Through VitalSource Helps?
You may add up to seven titles to your account for free, which can be chosen from a library of tens of thousands of eBooks being offered by VitalSource, publishers, and resellers.
Can I Download Materials?
Yes! To access ebooks offline, download the Bookshelf app on your computer or mobile device. The Bookshelf app is available free on all major app stores. Learn more about the Bookshelf app here.
Is the Bookshelf Platform Accessible for Students with Special Needs?
Yes. VitalSource and eCampus.com take accessibility seriously. We ensure all materials meet a minimum standard of accessibility, and the Bookshelf platform supports even more accessibility features, but publishers determine enhanced accessibility for their own content.
What If I Currently Access Bookshelf Through an LMS?
If you currently access digital materials through your LMS, such as Inclusive Access content, those will still be available on LMS-integrated accounts. However, eBooks that are a part of the VitalSource Helps program must be accessed through the Explore tab at bookshelf.vitalsource.com or within all native Bookshelf apps (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, etc.)
